About Collages

ree

I make these collages with my body, with language, and with the noise that lives in-between.
I use both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets because I was shaped by both—by what I tried to run from and by what I still carry. I work with fragments: family scripts, church prayers, glossy magazine skin, saints I never became, and boys I once were.

This is not nostalgia. This is myth turned inward. These collages are not digital. They are layered by hand—paper, glue, ink, old photographs, family scripts, church language, torn packaging, and tape from letters I never sent.

This series is not finished. Neither am I. Thank you for looking.
